The ones my wife and I had built by Mr. Hoag all said "J.Hoag" on the under side of the slide where the disconnector drags. It was stamped in very neetly.

My Hoag guns are unmarked. I about begged him to stamp & slather his name all over it but alas, he is too modest to do so... maybe my gun was too ugly ;-)
