I've never used this stuff before. When you spray it on, it leaves a white film--you leave this on, right?

YEP! It's a dry film which may contain teflon etc.
Just a tip: There's cheaper ways to go for better dry lubes.

For what it's worth, I use the Remington dry lube (probably the same thing) on my wife's P-22 and the white film is fine. Usually turns white if you use a lot. Works really good.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. If this stuff works ok, I'll take a look at those other ones.

it works! at least for me. i have an OLD mossberg 151m (22lr semi-auto) that has been having issues with jamming for years. i sprayed it down with this stuff after a thourough cleaning. it has yet to have a jam since. i have shot nearly 500 rounds through it since. the only cleaning i am doing is a brush and a patch through it occasionally.

If you want to avoid the "white powder" syndrome ......

Try using Otis Dry Lube ............ its the only dry lube I use these days. It dries invisible.
