Er...um...I'll guess.

The bullet was a boat-tail design that had a range greater than that of the "safe zones" beyond Army training ranges. The design was changed to the less aerodynamic flat base, which reduced it's range.

?

I read that somewhere, maybe it fits here? :D

Hi all,
The main problem was smoke. When fired it gave off to much smoke. Ordnance was working on the powder.
