I have been looking for the best deal possible on SKS clips since I just bought 3 of them (that $99 deal was too hard to resist). Anyway, I have heard that the new blued clips actually load faster and easier than the old parked clips, is this true? If so where is the best place to get these clips?
Secondly is this a good deal on SKS clips? http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=11727184
Lets hear a good place to get 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 while we are at it!!!!

39 cents per isn't a bad price, but I wouldn't go higher than 50 cents per.

That's a BAD deal considering you can get 100 clips from CDNN for $20.

Classic Arms also has them by the box of 100 for $20. I've got some from them and they are all new, Chinese made strippers. I dont think they have a website anymore, at least its not listed in the add. They are usually in most SGN's and they list them in the Sept.1st issue. Phone # for orders is 704-684-0650. If your looking for AK mags, they also have new AK mags $10/ea. - 10/$80. I got some of these and they were brand new Bulgarian mags in the wrap.

I was on a quest for the perfect clips a while ago. I found that the parkerized ones tend to hang up. The shiny blued ones work much smoother.
The clips at CDNN that Triad refers to are the nice shiny blued ones and they have a good price to boot. Those are what I recommend.
For good prices on 7.62x39:
www.aimsurplus.com
www.dansammo.com
www.wideners.com (not on their website, but in the flyer I just got they list Barnual 500/$39)

Bought those strippers from CDNN when they were only $13 for 100-----no problems here.

I got mine from TAPCO a while back. They came with some dual pouches that hold 40rnds in stripper clips.
I got 1000 rnds of Wolf 7.62X39 for $80 from Miwall at the last Sacramento gun show.

I got the CDNN chinese stripper clips also, I paid $2.99 for 20 and 4 of them were bent. I think they are rather junky but the ones that weren't bent seem to work O.K.

Moparmike,
I dont know if its still up, I havent seen it in awhile and its not at my bookmark. They do advertise just about every issue of Shotgun news though. They dont list an address in the add anymore.
