Wow! That's just :barf: ! Nevermind the fact that the ACOG doesn't have that much eye relief. What...was...he...thinking?!

The gold lettering is a nice touch. Classy.

that was probably a decent mauser before bubba did all that

what i love is how these people like to start bids on their chop jobs at higher prices than some commercial sporters cost new

C'mon, I'm sure it shoots minute of gaudy.

Don't worry. It's not included.

THE LIGHT& PRESSURE SWITCH AND LONG EYE RELIEF SCOPE WITH ILLUMINATED RETICLE ARE NOT UP FOR BID AND DO NOT COME WITH THE GUN

THE FLOOR PLATE IS INGRAVED WITH GOLD LETTERING.

very classy indeed. Way to show subtle elegance with some ENgraving (Ingrave is a town in England) on a rifle that you have butchered into the silliest mall ninja rifle ever.

:barf: What an awful thing to do with a Mauser. What did that Mauser ever do to deserve that?

Otony

Okay, where on earth does one buy the dingus so he could attach the bayonet?

I only ask for, um, curiosity reasons. Yeah, thats it, curiosity! :D

Oh. My. Bleeding. Eyes.

This has got to be a joke.

I hate to rain on the parade because I agree with the premiss. However, I belive the scope is not actually and ACOG. There is a cheasy knockoff ACOG that is actually a red dot w/unlimited eye relief.

King Bubba in the hall of Bubba.

I wonder what the muzzle blast is like with an 18" barrel for 8mm Mauser. Yup, I'm sure that gun is fun to shoot.

that is not a tactical rifle, that is a ruined rifle.

That's my suspicion as well ... otherwise at $400 its a steal for the ACOG alone.

In the close-up it is clear; that is definitely *not* a real ACOG.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it *does* go very well with that particular rifle, however. :D

Tragic comes to mind or maybe Bubba-riffic.

I really like the following quote from the auction description "THIS IS A QUICK HANDLING TACTICAL RIFLE THAT WEIGHTS 8 LBS. AND IS FUN TO SHOOT"

um, yeah.

It handles real quick right up until a second shot is required. :scrutiny:

VegasOPM
September 8, 2008, 05:35 PM
$400 starting bid huh? I'm not sure how to attach that value to a $200 rifle that has been butchered?:scrutiny:

The funny part is that I had a 7x57 Mauser turned into an actual Scout Rifle, complete with a reconfigured bolt handle, 20" bbl, forward mounted Burris Long eye relief Scout scope, muzzle brake, and lightweight stock. It weighs in at under 6# and shoots right at 2" at 100yds and I don't even think that it is worth that much.

The sight is sold seperatly, so what type of action is it and how much is that particular action worth? $400 seems a little high.

Aslo notice from the pictures that his wife makes him keep that thing outside with the rest of his junk. I don't think I have ever owned something so ugly that my wife wouldn't let me bring it into the house.
