Hi gang. While in junior high some thirty years ago I lived on the edge of city limits and my disabled Korean war vet turned shop teacher used to shoot clay targets. He lived a good distance away but the pellets would rain through the oak trees after every shot. After I told him about this he quit shooting entirely:(. I felt really bad but thought he should know. Better hearing it from me than from the man with bad news. Well, the “urban sprawl” shoe is on my foot now.
A couple of years ago Shooting Times Mag. published a maximum distance formula for different shot sizes. Any magazine I buy lasts for one month in the “Throne” rack and are tossed and that is one issue I wish I’d kept. Does anybody have this formula handy and will share. Thanks.
