Do they require installation by someone who knows what they are doing?
On are they just an add on piece??

Remove the grips/stocks and snap the metal clip on the T-Grip over the front strap. Position it as high as it will go (up behind the trigger guard) and replace the grips/stocks. Done!

They come up from time to time on ebay. An N frame T Grip just ended for $7.05. I'd like to get one for all my magna gripped S&W's. For me they just feel right.

Feels great in the hand. I intend to find some nice ivory grips for this gun and will still use the t-grip.

Hey No Quarter,
As I said on the S&W forum that's one beautiful S prefix Model 27. If you would like to trade that beauty for an unfired model 520 in its original box drop me a line!.

Doh! Didn`t even think of EBAY!:banghead: I do check the gun auction sites once in awhile but no joy so far.
Tyler doesn`t sell off their website. I called them a few months ago and ordered. Never got anything from them but at least I didn`t get charged.:(

Stop it! Stop it right this instant! You're making me drool on my keyboard. Now, put that beautiful gun away and stop posting pictures of it.

dino,
Don't know what went wrong with your attempt but a few months ago I ordered two N-Frame T-Grips from them over the phone and got both in about 10 days. They've gotten darn expensive but you can still get brand new T-Grips.
