I have seen several guns on hear bead blasted. I have a Rossi 38 that is chrome plated I am just curiuos if it can be bead blasted. I know that shiny guns can have there advantages but sorta like the dull finish personally. Title should read bead blast sorry.

would think so, chrome is polished after plateing it on - same as nickle - so should give it a 'matte' finish. don't use sand though maybe too rough.

Trying to bead blast a nickel plated gun will make a real mess.
The finish needs to be sent in to a firearms plater to have the bright nickle plating stripped.
After stripping you could bead blast it and have it blued or some other finish applied.

Since it already has a plated finish, you're better off to just leave it as is.
Attempting to bead blast it will leave the nickel in some areas and strip it in others.
The result will look splotchy, will rust in spots and will look like hell.
