I thought I would post a picture of the Kydex IWB Holster by Jim March for the Super Street Hawk 454. The 625 has wrapped Kydex panels.

Just to make sure I have this straight. Is that a Super Redhawk in .454 cut down and machined to accept moon clips and .45ACP? Have you fired any .454 in it? Have any pictures of you doing it in low light? That gun is absolutely beautiful! Who did the work and what did it run?

So we understand here: the cord-wrapped S&W wasn't my idea, it was an experiment, and I didn't charge for it :).

He wanted to try cord-wrapping that gun, as grip availability is slim; the problem was that the cords would squeeze into the mainspring. I suggested kydex "underpanels" to support the cord. We kinda grinned at each other, I traced the "panels" straight onto some scrap .060" pieces with the ol' boxcutter, broke them out along the cuts, did minor smoothing and drilled a hole through both so he could start the wrap.

The results are ugly, but functional :).

The holster above is an IWB concealable rig.

Yes, it is a Ruger 454 that was converted by Huntington. Here is the pic of the Kydex sheath that Jim March made for the Strider knife.

That gun is freaking awesome.....Good job on the holster....not pretty but functional is the name of the game for IWB....
I'd love to see the look on some dirtbag's face when he sees that baby.:D
