I tried a search on my userid and got back 186 PAGES of results. Funniest thing, I was not a poster on many many threads. What did I do wrong?

Pat, is it possible that you just ran a search on your username in the little pop-up search tool? When I did that with your name, I received 193 pages of hits. If you want to find only your posts, there are a couple of ways to do it.

The easiest is to click on your username, and in the little window that opens, select "Find more posts by Pat-inCO."

The other option would be to use the advanced search page:
http://www.thehighroad.org/search.php

From there, you should see an option to the right to "Search by User Name" Just type your name in there, and it should find only your posts.
