Ox arn't hard to hunt.....they actually stand their ground and try to fight.....it just leads to their demise.
500lbs of sweet fat meat each, nice hides for bedding in the tent, and a great day for the second son, Jon, and I with our `pard Carl.
Mine was a perfect base of the skull hit, shattered his neck.
The son hit his low in the spinal and the old fella sprayed blood like a fire hose, though the boy did a mercy shot when the bulls buddy was outta the way....

Still, not a bad way to bleed out a big bull....

How do those shaggy critters taste? What's the best method for preparation?

Taste's like Beef.....nice andmarbled fat:evil:

Treat like Beef while cooking.

I lived in NW Montana for awhile as a teen, and worked at a dairy/Beef Ranch.

I eat Beef because I HATE Cows.

Beef tastes like Swan......
