Did Colt at any time have a proprietary holster line? If so do you know of a way that I can get information on the pictured example? Model H2041.

Both Colt & S&W had their own brand name holsters made by someone else back in the 60's - 70's.

Yours appears to be an up-side down shoulder holster. I have a S&W that is very similiar.

I'm not sure anymore who the leather company was that made them, if I ever knew.

Dunno about yours; my "Colt" branded holsters were purchased in the 1990s, and were actually made by Hellweg.

Thank you scbair, I am going to try to contact them for information about restoring this holster correctly to pair with a late 70's Lawman Mk III round butt 2".

Good luck with that!

I would suggest you get a bottle of Lexol Leather Conditioner and use as directed.

Once the holster is clean and conditioned, polish off the excess with a soft cloth.

Follow that up with Kiwi "neutral" color past shoe polish.

DO NOT use neetsfoot oil, or any other oil product.
DO NOT use saddle soap.

Thanks rc, regarding repair I'm really talking about the 2 holes under the logo where either rivets or snaps are missing. Your leather care advice is welcome though and will be heeded.
