Installing Aimpoint flip covers on M4s--is there a trick for the big cover?

Got the smaller cover on without a problem, but the big flip cover is being quite stubborn. Are there any tricks to getting it on there without breaking something?

No tricks, just use elbow grease, and maybe a tiny bit of lube.
