Bushmaster trigger guard question

Is it normal for the trigger guard to be somewhat loose, i.e. you can jiggle it with your finger, on Bushmaster AR-15s or any AR-15 in general? Thanks in advance for any information.

Yes. If you look you will see that there is a plunger at the front of the trigger guard where you can release the front and let it swing down, allowing the use of heavy gloves.
