Picked up this Crossman air shotgun nearly 20 years ago....not sure many people have ever seen one. Uses CO2 and #9 shot cartridges (which can be reloaded). Tried using it with a "Ritz Cracker" thrower....can be done, very difficult. Real wood and metal components. Here are some closeups....

A guy at my gun club has one, as well as some kind of .50 cal air powered rifle. It's pretty neat, but they are expensive and it takes a while to pump up.

Cool, they are sort of common among collectors. If you want a real, near full power shotgun, check this out http://www.network54.com/Forum/414006/message/1210607536/Took+this+gobbler+this+morning+using+the+Bontrager+20+gauge.............

It's made by a guy named Joe Bontrager

I think GAMO makes some currently.
I did not know about the older one.

I've actually shot the gamo, and it's pretty neat. It patterns ok, although it only hold 20 #8 shot :uhoh: I wouldn't even shoot starlings with it, but it would be a cool grasshopper gun. It also shoots regular pellets fairly well out to 15 yards.

To the OP, check out some round balls or appropriate sized buckshot, they are real thumpers on pests when used as a single projectile

Darn, I was hoping it'd be the deal for geese.
