How much should I ask for these, one Ruger 2” sp101 not the 327
Two Buckmark camper 22’s
One Springfield XD9 tactical with accessories , holster, loader, etc
I just want to take them to a gun store and get the cash. No, I don’t need money I just want to go in another direction with the guns that I buy.

The tactical was about 450.00 with tax
The two buckmarks about 280.00 with tax
The Ruger about 450.00 with tax
All are 10 months or less old.

A suggestion; If you need cash, sell them yourself. Gunshops can't give anything close to market price - that's where they need to sell them to be competitive and make a profit.
Selling them yourself locally or here on the board, sight unseen?
Ruger - mid 300's
Buckmarks - low 200's
Springfield - about 400
A gun stor will probably offer you about 1/2 to 2/3 of the numbers above.
YMMV

Gunstores will only give you a fraction of the market value. They can't afford anything else.
You can go to gunsamerica.com and find what dealers are currently selling your respective firearms for and then offer them for sale on THR and other forums.
If they don't sell at that price, lower them a few percentage points until they do.
Good luck. I hope everything works out.

You can sell them on the Classifieds here quite easily, and to make it easier you could stiupulate 'ftf...face to face only.,to a resident of my state..
things like that.

My experience has been that I get much better deals when I trade a gun in toward a specific purchase. Shops vary according to what they will allow. Cabelas retail stores will buy, but I don't know any details.

It sometimes depends on the gun store as well - one advantage to trading them in can be a reduction in sales tax if you live in a state that collects it. That can amount to a bit of money .
While selling them on your own will likely bring a higher price on the front end, keep in mind the money mentioned above, and be carefull who you sell to privately . Not that it is a problem if its done with some thought put into it.
Good luck - for amounts regarding specific value of your firearms you can look at such sites as GunsAmerica and the auction sites as well. Realize that many of the guns listed on those sites do not sell so quickly, or not at all, for the prices listed on them. Also recognize that dealers,& shops need to make some profit to pay for the overhead. And of course ,even in private sales there are just as many who would be happy to take advantage of you, as there are in gun shops.
