TFALAC ALERTS - mailing list maintenance
TFA is now using a mailing list software product for the TFALAC alerts which allows more flexibility and which automatically helps to maintain the mailing list. As part of that conversion, the software automatically tests each email address to see if it is valid. Apparently, some email addresses (notably AOL, Comcast and other large ISP's) are now blocking tests to verify the existence of accounts and consequently some addresses are being purged that are valid accounts.
Once I know that an address is subject to this problem, I can flag it as valid so that the purging process will skip over it. However, I need feedback from individuals to alert me to this problem.
Therefore, I am asking everyone who receives this email alert to forward it to others in your gun clubs, shooting/hunting networks and anyone who you think may be interested in TFA or these free alerts. I want to try and make sure that everyone who wants these alerts is receiving them.
If you receive this alert as a forward and you want to subscribe to it, you will need to send a subscription request through this link:

When you do, the system should send you (within 48 hours normally) a 2nd email to confirm the request. You must also respond to that confirmaiton email by simply hitting respond and then send - do not edit the subject line because it will contain a confirmation code. If your subject line is edited or in some instances truncated (thank you again AOL), then the subscription will fail.
If you are having problems with subscription or are concerned that you account has been purged send an email to me at johnharris @ tennesseefirearms.com and I will manually add you back. PLEASE - use the automated process first!
