I am trying to mount my Swarovski scope with the new Swarovski rail system to my Remington 700 Long action rifle. I have a weaver two peace set #s 35 and 36. The problem I am having is to much distance between the slots of the 35 and 36 bases. With the 35 and 36 bases mounted I have a measurement of 4 & 11/16” center to center of the slots. With the scope I have the locking plates move out as far as they can be moved on the Swarovski scope. This measurement is 4 & 1/2” center to center of the pins that should fit in the slot. With a difference of the measurements of 3/16”. Any ideas ? another base maybe?

Maybe the weaver 48330 one piece base with multiple slots
