...never seen anything like it.
Could be a "detective" model from a 100 years ago.
Anyone?

Looks very similar to the old Velo Dog revolvers*. They were manufactured from the 1870s on.
The actual chambering is .320 Winchester Centerfire (or .320 Revolver). .32 Webley is the same thing. Though the cases are shorter, .32 Colt (short or long) can be fired from it.
(*) The name is short for Velociped, which was a fancy word for bicycles. The idea was that you could shoot rampaging dogs that were known to attack cyclists. No, really.

It is a version of the Belgium Bulldog revolver. The .320 revolver round was popular in Europe before the turn of the century. They are not worth much more than being a conversation piece.
Here is one I have...

It does look like an English or Belgin made "bull dog" revolver. What makes you think it's a Berlin Police revolver?

... in the auction there was a reference to that...
as there is a "crown" marking on it. Could be arsenal stampings.
Thatīs why i assume it has been in "Reichs"-service in the emperors
times around 1890-1918
