I really dislike black fore end caps, and I'm not handy. Is having the cap replaced by a gunsmith really, really expensive or just costly?
I'm taken by a Remington 700 BDL, but it's just too glitzy. The cap has to go, first. It doesn't need to match, but just not black. Does making it angle-cut change the price, as opposed to square cut as it is now?
