I just got this from Jesse yesterday. It's a variation on a the Canadian made by Grohman. OAL is 7 3/4 inches with a blade length just under 4.

Very nice looking knife; the first thing it reminded me of was a shortened version of the Canadian Boat knife. I especially like the handle material; what is it?

Green jigged bone that is jigged to resemble stag.

Here's the Grohman Russel knife with a full height grind. A little different from the "boat" you mentioned.

Jesse's knife is a modification based on the Russel and some features a guide was discussing with me. The body is a little straighter with the tip coming up a bit more. The spine could have been left flat and the resemblance between the two would have been less, but then you wouldn't be able to rest your thumb or finger on the spine right at the point where the edge sweeps up.

Sweet - you need two though, to shave with. One to shave and one to look at your reflection.

With mosaic pins like that you'll need matching grips for a bright nickel K frame.

Price from Jesse is $190. That's dirt cheap.

He's working up the numbers on a group buy right now and if I can get 6 people to prepay I should be able to get them to THR members for $175.

The knife is 440C, his favorite material. The bolster is nickel silver.
