I'm thinking about buying some of this ammo they have for sale here (http://www.southernohiogun.com/ammunition.html) Its .380 ammo called GERMAN-DYNAMIT NOBEL 380 AMMO and the descriptoin they give it is.. High quality manufactured ammo by Dynamit Nobel, brass case, boxer prime, reloadable, non-corrosive. JACKETED SOFT POINT.
Now I know very little about ammo, but I've never heard of jacketed soft point. Has anyone used it? Is it any good? My range will let me shoot pretty much anything as long as it doesn't have a steel case or "otherwise stick to a magnet" so I should be ok on that end. Its a great price, anyone have any info on it?
Thanks

jims ........ Not used the .380 as yet but over the years have used DYNAMIT NOBEL and found it to be good ammo .... no probs that I remember. The price seems good on that too.

The JSP ...... I think the bullet is probably like a 38spl sp ..... the jackets stops short of full length and the nose is just flat .... not as usual as jhp but ... I'd imagine profiled just fine for good feed.

If I hadn't stocked up a bit on .380 I'd go for some myself.
