Hey folks - need some advice.
My fiancee and I were recently extended an open invitation to visit a friend who lives in VA. We're in Maryland, which as most of you probably know does not afford one the freedoms that VA does when it comes to CCW/OC. When we go to visit, I would like to take advantage of VA's open carry laws, and practice carrying a pistol with me. We intend to to move to AZ as soon as possible once school is finished, and I think that a few trips to places with OC like VA will be good for me to "get the hang of things" as far as carry goes.
Now, to the meat of the post - aside from my fiancee's 642, the only gun I have that I can reasonable consider carrying is my Walther P22. While I realize that it is not the ideal carry gun, keep in mind that it will be used as a "test case", to get my feet wet with the whole practice of carrying a gun. I am comfortable and familiar with my P22, so ease of use and safety aren't a concern. While I realize that the 642 might be "safer" since it's a revolver, you can rest assured that I am of the mind that once the pistol goes in the holster, it is not to be checked/touched/adjusted/fiddled with. Thus my choice to use the P22.
So, any suggestions for P22-compatible holsters are appreciated. (hopefully of the affordable type - I'm a college student!)
Thanks so much!
