Colt Police Postive what year mfg?

Hi, I picked up a nice colt police positve in .38 New Police / .38 S&W (not .38 spl) and am trying to find out what year it was made, the last year for pattents on the barrel is 1905. Anybody have info on old Colts?

Post the serial number as 123xxx and I can tell you.

here is the sn there is a space between the 24x and the xx all a numeric values.

According to the little blue book that's 1909.
