loaded chamber indicators or magazine disconnects?
The only ones I know of that have loaded chamber indicators are the Walther P99 and Smith & Wesson SW99. One is a clone of the other, really.
Which KA DOJ approved handgun has a magazine disconnect?

Don't some of the S&W autos have mag disconnects? What about Browning Hi-Powers?

Both my Beretta 96s have chamber loaded indicators.
They are (surprise) not incredibly easily to see, and I don't trust them nor look at them anyway, just like I don't trust or use any manual, mechanical safeties.

The newest SA 1911s have a loaded chamber indicator, which is nothing more than a little notch cut out of the top, rear edge of the barrel hood. In really bright light, you can see brass in there.
