Wonder if anyone remembers this gun? I had one stolen from me and wonder if Ruger could find the serial # if you could supply them with the name of the business you bought it from. I know I have it somewhere at home but just can't remember whre I put it. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.:)

I doubt it. Ruger does not ship/sell directly to end point retailers. They sell to distributers, who then ship to individual FFLs based on their specific orders and requests.
Security and Service Sixs are still very popular guns - lots for sale on auction sites like gunbroker.com and frequently posted about on the ruger forums.

I own one- a 2 and 3/4 in 150 prefix that is blued. Great gun and I love it. I'd call ruger- they might be able to get you on the right track. Either that or if you remember the shop you got it from. Worst case scenario it only cost you a phone call, I say go for it.

One thing you should do is send a letter to the BATF, letting them know your gun was stolen. If it is used in a crime, it would help your case to have reported it stolen with the BATF. I assume you already reported it to your local police.
