I recently spoke with an woman who's selling her deceased husbands firearms, and she was describing a commemorative remington pump he purchased sometime in the '50s...she said it's very small and light- perhaps 2lbs.
Has anyone ever heard of such a rifle, and what would be a fair price for it?
Thanks for your replies.

It would have to be a fieldmaster model 121, if it was a special edition of a regular model.....don't know how that would come in at 2 lbs though, my dad has a 121 and its pretty heft with a steel action and walnut furniture.
Here's a link to a little info on it, its the only pump .22 remington was making in 1950 (unless of there was a limited run of something, like a commemorative gun, which they don't list on their site)

They do list a 150th anniversary model 572

That would have been 1966.

Hope to see it next week...the lady was very insistent on both the size and weight (very small and light weight)...curious...
