Ladies and Gentlemen, today could be the day for MO CCW !

As many of you know the idiot governor of Missouri vetoed the overwelmingly passed, most restrictive in the country CCW bill last summer. The override session is in full swing. The house voted to override and it is now in the hands of the senate. It will be close but our side has recieved a big boost.
Senator Doan from Lake St. Louis is a big supported. His National Guard unit got called to active duty and he has been in Cuba. If he can't be in Jefferson City for the vote it may not pass. But the Army granted him leave and he arrived late yesterday and he will be there to cast his vote!!!!
I can't think of a more fitting day than 9/11 to extend homeland security rights to the citizens of Missouri.
A BIG THANKS to all who helped in this fight.

Yes, they will vote today, unless the liberal democrates pull some kind of trick. But I don't think they have to votes to fillibuster.

Hope it passes for you guys TODAY. I cannot think of a more fitting day for passage of what could be termed "Home & Land Security" than today, the 2nd anniversary of 9-11-01.
As a side benny for us in Defenseless Ohio, it gives us another log to put on the fire we are building under the butts of the Spineless Ohio Senate.

Are you guys gonna have the leftists yelling,
"BLOOD IN THE STREETS!"
"WILD WEST!"
"KILLINGS OVER PARKING SPACES!"
"WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!"
like Minnesota, or are y'all more calm?
Good luck today!

Oh yeah!
My entire family lives in MO and I am sick and tired of going through
KC unarmed.
This is good news indeed.

Senator Jon Dolan is back for the veto override vote. We are still between a minefield and napalm strike.

If you're listening to the Senate debate right now, they've been debating tort reform for NEARLY 75 minutes! I won't get into the details of what it is, but it's frustrating.

First of all, good luck to you all. Secondly, the MN senate did the same thing with debating for ever before voting. It let's the liberals get their voices "heard" before passing the bill, plausable deniability I suppose:rolleyes: .
I hope it goes. And when it goes, I hope there isn't as much liberal whining as there was here. That was almost unbearable. I've got my fingers crossed.

Any word yet? Or are they still whining about tort stuff?

Tort stuff over. Debate on CCW now. Senator Gibbons made a speech that appairantly changed his vote. Sen. Dolan speaking now. Looking better but not out of the woods yet.

For all the obvious reasons and some not so obvious. If it passes it'll make Christmas shopping for my dad a lot easy. A nice leather holster for his 5906 should fit the bill:D .
