CZ Scope Mounting

Considering the purchase of a CZ 550 FS. They are not drilled and tapped for scope mounts, but they appear to have some kind of dovetail on top of the receiver. Anybody know what my scope mounting options would be?? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just purchased at CZ FS in .270. I believe CZ markets a set of rings specifically for this rifle that attach to the dovetail you mentioned. Check out their website.

If I remember correctly, the CZ 550 has a 19mm dovetail for which CZ makes rings. There are also some after-market rings made for the 19mm rail, Warne being one brand.

It seems likely that most "desirable'' manufacturers make rings for the CZ550

I have a couple of CZ-550's. Be very careful when you tighten the screws. They are made of pressed cardboard and will easily snap in two.
