I just saw the news on tv where british muslims are celebrating 9/11, calling the terrorists the magnificent 19. They also warned more attacks to those who support Tony Blair and President Bush. To me it sounded like a warning directed mainly to the British, who has received other threats in the past. It would be easier to carry out such threats where firearms are illegal, they would have a helpless target rich environment to do so. I am concerned that our british friends have left themselves extremely vulnerable. :(

The British have their intelligence house in order, from what I hear, and should be able to deal with any threats. I like how the SAS dealt with teh Princes Gate terrorists: no prisoners. Muslim ex-pat communities in Western countries seem to be breeding grounds for terrorists and their sympathizers just as impoverished third world countries are.

My personal feelings is skin each individual alive who is celeberating the "victory." Or burn them alive....I mean its not like they have any regaurd for the life of innocent people. Let me see it and I will have some words with whoever is saying it.

I think we westerners are all totally insane. Not in a metaphoric, but in a really clinical manner.

We give this people every and all protection, freedom and liberties (oh, oooohhhh, otherwise it would be racial profiling!) and they don't want to do anything else than just to DESTROY this assets.

It's because we idiots invite them to demolish the little remains of christian values we still have. The same liberals that claim all and every freedom to do what they like have no problems to cherish a religion and mindset that is out just to destroy that!

Muslim ex-pat communities in Western countries seem to be breeding grounds for terrorists and their sympathizers just as impoverished third world countries are. Well, that seems to be the case in Europe anyway. Even middle class, "moderate", Muslims from the Middle East often seem to become radicallized after living in Europe for a time (that was the case for Mohammad Atta). However, we should give credit where credit is due- the American Muslim community has historically been quite moderate, at least when it comes to their brand of religion and support of anti-US terrorism (anti-Israeli terrorism is another story- a surprising amount of Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas funding used to come from US fundraising before the gov't started going after the "charities" that funnelled the money to them).

We are completely and throughly corrupting them. The kids that grow up in the US don't have anything close to the intensity of religious belief that their parents brought with them, and others leave Islam entirely. (Jeffery Lang, "Even Angles Ask", Amana Publications, 1997. Please don't ask me what pages, I dont want to read that confessional bit of drek again.)

Mohammad Atta and his cohorts apparently went into deep culture shock when they tried to leave the confines of the Middle East. At home, these guys are/were moderatly sucessful students. But, when they go abroad for continuing education, they realize that the outside world does not force students to spend 40% of class time on religious subjects. (One article quipped that natively trained Saudi engineers graduate better equipped to analyze religious texts than the results of an experiment.)

Why do they hate us? Xenophobia, and the crushing realization that they lost the war with the West. What they see is that the Crusaders may have been expelled, but their decendants could come back at any time, and their is nothing that the decendants of Suliman can do to stop it.

Why are they here? Same reason that some many other imigrants have come to America: opportunity. (Unfortunatly, there is a lot more to America than most bargain for, and it's enough of a change that some go mad from the exposure.)
