A Point That The Anti-gunners Miss....

One of the things that radical anti-gunners miss is that eventually we Americans are going to NEED each and every firearm that we have in our possession. And I do mean actually NEED them!

History tends to repeat itself. We've all heard that bit of sage wording. The trouble is that radical anti-gunners don't plan ahead for the good of America. The anti-gun nuts care only about now and using emotions to further their stupid cause. If history is capable of repeating itself, then like the early days of WW2, there will again be another drive to voluntarily collect firearms to use for the defense of our nation or another allied nation overseas.

The only reason why the anti-gunners are allowed to openly express themselves in our nation is because firearms, American firearms, have bought them the right to be themselves. We all know, and the anti-gunners refuse to acknowledge the fact, that there are places overseas where their sort of silliness would never, not for one minute, be tolerated. In those foreign lands guns would be used to bring an end to their stupidity and their right to express themselves would be terminated in a very bloody and abrupt end.

So the next time you meet up with an anti-gun nut and they start in on the issue of guns being bad, remind them that without American guns defending them that they would not be tolerated in many other lands. And also remind them that one day, probably in the not too distant future, our nation will need every single gun that it can muster for the defense of the common good which is why our forefathers wanted honest Americans to be allowed to own guns in the first place.

The problem with this thinking is that there is little to physically grasp and therefore eludes to fantasy. every thing I read in your post can be argued against and easily by the true anti gunner.
Although I understand where you are going with this post the anit folks just wont.

Haven't you ever seen those bumperstickers that say "VISUALIZE PEACE"?

You're just not thinking "happy thoughts". If we all think happy thoughts, and visualize peace, then the world will be full of sunshine. Remember, "Mean People Suck."

Just look at the lyrics to John Lennon's song, Imagine.

There's your Brave New Gun-Free Utopia.

(Everytime that song comes on the radio at work, I start ranting about how I consider John Lennon personally culpable in the genocide of 3,000,000 Cambodians.)

Rifleman, have you considered that maybe those radical anti gunners WANT the people disarmed and helpless so that THEY can be the ones to oppress or otherwise molest us?

guns are not bad its is people its that simple if someone has the will power to do something they will if they want to kill a person a gun only makes it easier without a gun they would still do it with a fishing hook whatever

The problem starts with are goverment and thats it. know let me say somthing here i dont know how many of you guys like rap out there but there is a rapper out there by the name of lil wayne and read these lyrics and it will explaine what I mean by are goverment is the problem

i really don't wanna know the answer
i guess we just misunderstood hunh
you know we don't have room in the jail now for the real mothaf**kas, the real criminals
sex offenders, rapists serial killers, s**t like that
don't get scared, don't get scared
I know you saw one them sex offenders papers
don’t trip he live right on the end of yo block,
Mhm yea, that nigga live right down the street from you,
sex offender on the level 3 drug,
convicted ex-con
yea check em out
watch you got, you got a daughter, son , what you got.?

And what he is saying is that he don't care about the real nuts not saying its right to sell or do drugs but the fact is he care more about that then keeping that sex offender in jail when the punishment should be worse and this applays to more then this the murderers and atempts get out after 20 years when it should be life or death for them but maybe I'm expressing my opinions a little to much but I'm tired of all this stupid stuff when we don't even fix the real problems we talk and talk but all are gov. does is talk and I am PROUD and FORTINIT (i think thats how you spell it) to be an American but we have serrious issues we need to stop worring about other country's and get are stuff strightened out first!

ps sorry if i'm ranting but I need to vent

vote me as the next POTUS and I'll strighten it all out :)

I've noticed in talking to fellow gun-grabbers that a lot of them are home grown. Urbanites who never owned a bb gun growing up or that come from families with no traditions of hunting, outdoors, or self-reliance. The other group is immigrants from countries where guns were demonized, outlawed. They come to the US and find our 2nd amendment retrograde, dated.

It is sad that immigrants come here and all that's required of them is to pass is a basic history test. I say make everyone take a course in American history and the foundation of our constitution, and the reason why the 2nd amendment was and continues to be paramount to the preservation of the 1st amendment and the rest of the bill of rights. Only then will people understand our tradition of gun ownership.
