I had been using a comp-tac shirt tucker holster for my 1911 untill the belt clip snapped off.

Its a pretty good design despite the belt clip weakness.

Does anyone else here use a comp-tac?

Should I pursue getting a replacement or move on to something else?

I have two of their paddle holsters that have seen a lot of use and there is no problem with either one. What's great about Comp-Tac is if you want one of their holsters with a slightly different cant or a different pitch, they'll make the chage sometimes at no additional cost.

Have you emailed/called Greg? I'm sure he'd offer to fix it at little or no charge.

I use his gear- no problems yet. If you're in Houston, come on down to Top Gun for their indoor tactical shooting league, and meet him- real nice guy.

I just saw Greg yesterday. I've had one of their C-tac holsters for a couple of months now. I like it alot, but they've got finish issues that may or may not become an issue over time.
