no matter what the number is, Warmest Regards & Best Wishes, Dave.
And I promise, no Wise N. Heimer remarks about getting the fire extinguishers ready BEFORE lighting the candles on the B'Day cake....Like Mrs. Foggy told me she had to do last time on MY b'day....

Thanks, guys. I'm 62, and expect my official Geezer card in the mail any day now.
Full disclosure, the OP and I shot together today, first the Geezer stuff and then some Sporting Clays. We had major fun.
See other thread for more stuff.....

Hey Dave, start putting the list of the exact features you'd want on your dream 870. You have 3 years to figure it out. When you hit 65, we'll lobby remington to produce a limited run of "McCracken Edition" guns.
October 11, 2008, 01:35 PM
It'll be a short list, Ben. Take a WM with 28" LC barrel and.....
Add sling studs.
And an optional Sorbo pad to increase LOP to 15.
Get the trigger under 4 lbs.
PS, add metal to the trigger to make it 1/4" wider and make it feel sublime.
And a tiny F/O bead up front, no mid bead.
Ah, yes, pretty wood.
That's about it.....
For the black BDU types, the same thing with the 21" turkey barrel, two shot extension and most of the above tweaks.Leave the stock as is for use over body armor and tight places.
