Is there any way I could attach a regular size pin lower to an older Colt upper with the larger pin size?

This is the colt upper in question:

Either drill the lower or get bushings for the small pins.

Go here (http://www.pkfirearms.com/store/get_items.aspx?type=0&term=12). Get the Offset Bushing listed about halfway down.

This is what we did back in 1984, Find a piece of copper tubing and cut it to size to fit into your lower. Take a drill bit and slowly open up the inside of the tubing until the pin fits. This was a common issue in building AR's from mixed parts

Just making sure, the link I provided to that 6520 Upper does in fact have the smaller pins, right? Even though it says new production?
