As if you haven't seen enough, here she is:

http://fray-adjacent.justdied.com/pics/CZ75B.jpg

She feels good in my hand. Trigger doesn't feel too bad for being brand spanking new. Popped the snap cap in and checked it all out.

Tomorrow she goes to the range for break in! I picked up 200 rounds of WWB 100rd value packs, and 100 rounds of Brown Bear that a buddy gave me. Next paycheck, I will be ordering a case of Olympic.

QUICK. I need a good holster! Nothing too expensive. Something I could have delivered in a week (got an IDPA match next weekend). I prefer something like a belt slide, or a good IWB like the Don Hume PCCR. Any suggestions are welcome.

COMING SOON: Range report!

I'm stoked! I love this pistol so far!

Nice choice! I love my CZ-75B.

I've got a Don Hume belt slide and like it a lot. It's a very convenient little open carry holster for the range.

Here's a pic of it with my CZ40B (it fits both guns)

I picked up an Uncle Mike's Mirage for 16 bucks (you said not expensive right). It's definately not a fancy model, but it's on the "approved" list, and there is a removable thumb strap if one so desires.

Fobus makes a paddle holster for it. Eric @ HBE holsters will make you a custom holster for $60-70. Good Luck.

Congratulations on the new pistol. I think you're gonna like it. I have a Blade-tech OWB for my 75B SA. I love Blade-tech's, but it took 4 weeks to get it. It arrived just in time for last Saturday's match and it was worth the wait. A Cen-Dex Storm is one of the hot set-ups for IDPA now. Take a look here:http://www.cen-dex.com/

Gene,

Pretty neat to know that about the Cen-Dex STORM model. Frank
has offered them to us @ 20% discount for quite some time now.

Given what i've heard about Fobus. I think the Cen-Dex are quite
superior, and with the discount, not much more in price. also a
Made In USA product.

I got to the range today with my new CZ75B and can say that I am VERY pleased with it!

Recoil was snappy but light, muzzle flip was very small, making followups VERY easy. Accuracy was good. Not as good with the Brown Bear, but the WWB was giving me about 2 inches at 21 feet. I wasn't concentrating much. I need more trigger time!

I also got to a local gunstore today, and picked up a Bianchi Minimalist belt slide holster... and then looked and found it's not on the IDPA 'approved' list. oh flippin well. I'm gonna use it until my JIT slide comes in (which IS 'approved').

Overall, I like it much. Plus, I ordered a couple magazines from 'reddogxx' on GunBroker... he's sending me 2 15rd mags, shipped, for $45!! Not bad!!

Congratulations. I love my 75B. Great gun, accurate, reliable, well made, and inexpensive- can't beat that.

I am shocked though that it took until the 6th reply before someone suggested you look into Hakan grips. I love mine (I really do need a better digital camera so I can finally get some pics up, but I keep spending my "excess" cash on guns, ammo or accessories). Feel good, look good. I actually had a guy at the range (one of the employees inspecting it) take a double take and he "fondled" it for quite a bit longer than usual before giving it back to me and commenting on how nice the grips were. Just about everyone who has seen the gun with the grips really likes them. My best friend liked them so much he got a pair for his 85 Combat. Hakan really is a nice guy, and he doesn't charge that much (~$60 or so) so if you don't like them you aren't out that much.

I'm also a fan of the CZ rubber grips (my friend had them on his 85 Combat before buying his grips from Hakan).

I'm definitely going to consider Hakan's grips. I've seen quite a few examples, and they're all VERY beautiful. I love wood grips. However, I like the 'tactical' aspect of the CZ. Black = tactical to me... hehehe. Might have to see what he has in a dark wood like ebony or a dark walnut. For now, for little $$, I might get the CZ rubber grips. I felt those on a Tactical, and I liked.

I LOVE this pistol! I can't believe I had waited so long to decide on one. This one is a KEEPER. I'm probably going to sell my Buckmark and get the Kadet conversion.

Someday... I'll get a 97... then maybe a 75 Compact... I've had my first taste, and I like it!!

Thanks to everyone for info and encouragement! The CZ is well deserving of the attention it gets!

I have a CZ97B on my Christmas list :D If I get a 9mm it will almost certainly be a CZ85 Combat. I like the ambidexterous controls because they make off-handed shooting quicker.

As for beutiful grips, see if you can find Black Perlite. I have a knife with them and my Dad has a SS BlackHawk .357 and they look great. I think they would accent black just as nicely as the SS. Here's my only pic I have online of the knife. It doesn't do it justice. The Peralite has a lot of depth to it.
