I just ID'd a shooter

I was calmly sitting at home in my living room perusing the latest and greatest threads here on THR, when POP! :cuss: Dang another shooting in the neighborhood. Right across the street from my house is a neighborhood Qwickway mart, in the parking lot of said establishment is a Hispanic woman(A) and man(B) and a short medium build Black man(C) who is gangsta'ing his semi all over the scene. The 2 guys start mixing it up while A is yelling at them. So I grab the cordless and call 911. (Yes I was armed but I was not going to go out in the street and start blazing away at the guys cause there where quite a few others just milling around.) Within 20 sec I was talking to the Police dispatcher and I saw (C) start walking away. So I stayed on the phone and described what was happening to the dispatcher and within 90 sec there were 6 cop cars on the scene. A and B had gotten in their own cars and drove away, got her licence plate and Vehicle ID and C walked calmly down the street as if nothing had happened. They got A and C, the Dispatcher asked if I could ID the guy C and I said sure. I got to ride in the back of the cruiser and they drove me to where the LEO's had him and I could see him and I said that's him. They took me home and took my statement and said would you testify. SURE, get another Drug shooter off the streets.

The above is just a highlight of all that happened but I am impressed with the LEO's in my town.

Does it mean I will stop carrying NO.

Sorry, I just got this mental image of an Amish drug deal gone bad. Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on getting them off the streets. I have been dealing with a lot of crap in my complex, thankfully no shooting. However, when I get the chance, I will be purchasing a gun! Can't be too careful nowadays.

I sincerely hope not! It might, in fact, be worth your while to find a better address.

Gee Whiz Brian, I'm glad you didn't run out
there and get hurt!:D Reckon any of those LEO's
want a good police job down south? We sure
could use a few of them.

Best Wishes,

"Amish drug deal?"

Couple of years ago several guys were arrested in Lancaster County for running a meth lab and distribution ring.

One of the guys was, IIRC, Jacob Stolfus, an Amishman in his 20s, who was the local connection for all of the Amish youths in the area.

I live right across the street from the 7th Ward which is where the Food stamp & Welfare, Drug Cadillac(Japanese Buzz bomb) live. I see drug deals and pimps and hear all sorts of bangs, pops and other assorted noises, most are fireworks during the summer but once in a while.

I talked to the LEO and she said they would probably prosecute at a FED level for the gun violation. One problem the shooter ditched the gun before he got stopped.?????

The only Amish who come thru the Puerto Rican\Black section do so only during the day to sell their local produce.

The thing that gripes me is about 10 to 15 other people saw it happen and they.........

One guy was on the pay phone 20 yds away and he just walked around the corner of the building, when the shooter left he went back and picked up the handset and went on talking for about 5 more minutes.

when POP!

I should have said Bang!

Sorry

Gangsta'ing

Waving the gun around sideways like he was Homeboy of the Hood.

Drugs are the biggest problem on that side of the street. 99% of the LEO calls to that block are Drug related.

haha yeah those gangsta guys are kinda weird. I was in the back of the house and didn't see anything. I heard it, but didn't know how dangerous it would be so I told mom it was probably my sister. I knew dad was taking care of. I didn't want to have it explode into something really bad.

That night I was glad my dad had guns in the house and that I knew how to use them. Dad called me on his way out the door so I would have one of them under my bed incase another one of the gang members wanted to get my dad. So I was the lone shooter in the house.

Thanks dad for teaching me. Now can I take the Glock when I move out? Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top, no make that with lots of dark chocolate on top? :D
