I found it!

I have finally found a 1000 yard range. Alright all it is is a friends corn field but it is still a 1000 yard range. Any way I have always wanted to shoot 1000 yards but due to having a limited varity of ranges I have not. I was talking to a guy the other day about 1000 yd shooting and he said that I needed a 30 degree angle mount for the scope. This brings me to the major questions what type of mount do I need to be able to shoot 1000 and also what is a scope that is $100.00 or under scope that will do 1000?

Few scopes have enough internal elevation adjustment to go from 100 to 1000 yards. You need a 30 MINUTE (or probably 20 - 25) tapered scope mount. Available from Brownells and several other sources.
That scope mount will cost $50 - $150 alone. A $100 scope for 1000 yards? I don't know of one I would bother with.
