How many more will die?...

After seeing the ceremonies & hearing the speeches commemorating 9/11's second anniversary, I'm filled with a sickening feeling in my stomach.

What was the country discussing on 09/10 of this year? Was it the resolve to take out the terrorists? No. Was it the need to support our troops? No. Was the US feeling that same anger that we had on 09/12/01? No.

We were watching politicians speak out AGAINST the pursuit of those enemies to our nation. We were watching a Demon-Rat debate where every person on that podium went out of their way to criticize our troops' actions in Afghanistan & Iraq. And we talked about how the Justice Department was focusing their efforts to raid glassware shops & if the next governor of California would be a liberal, a liberal, a liberal, or if the people would just choose to leave a liberal in the office.

Out of curiosity, how many more people will have to die in terrorist attacks before our nation finds the resolve that it lost so soon after the attacks two years ago?...

My seat of the pants notion is that the attention span of the average American--and particularly politicians--is shorter than that of a mouse in heat. Maybeso equal notions of responsibility, anyway...

And then there are some of us who haven't forgotten a darned thing that's been done to this country--and since long before 9/11, for that matter...

Just go on Fox News and read about 90 dead Taliburgers and you'll be satisfied for a few weeks again.
