Quick question. Is there a maximum amount of rounds allowed in the magazine while pheasant or deer hunting?

Deer is easy as you'd only get one ethical shot anyways but what about pheasant?

With the spacer in place, I only can have 3 rounds in my 500. With the spacer removed, I can go up to 6 rounds.

Thanks.

No limits on number of rounds for deer or pheasant in Minnesota.

Many people think there is a 5-round limit for deer hunting, but there is not. So you can load a 40-round magazine into your AK, but you will likely have other hunters argue with you.

Unless I know the area very well, when I pheasant or grouse hunt on public land with any water anywhere (which is most land in MN), I use steel shot and put a plug in the magazine. Just to be safe.

I think the fine is $50 per lead shell if you are in a "wetland".

Families got 160 acres and they just brought in the soybeans.
