07 Winchester variant

I have a 1907 winchester (.351) with a williams apperature sight. The wood is checkered in winchesters pattern, steel but, winchester swivels, plain grip cap. It is a later production model with tang markings. The wood isn't as thick as the other later production models. It's a beautiful carbine and would appreciate you winchester experts opinion as whether you think it's original. I have had the gun for about 40 years and it was made in 1949.
