Shotgun Sling

Is there a sling out there that I don't have to drill and mount a stud in the buttstock? I'd like to keep the stock as clean as possible and have nothing there when I remove the sling.
Thanks.

You could use one of these, if your shotgun is an 870:

It fits between the stock and the receiver.
It is available from the below company, and, I have seen other places carry the same thing:

Also available is this:

From Eagle:

It sort of just clips onto the buttstock.

And then there are these:

Available from Uncle Mike's:

"Flush-mount front and rear bases for stud-free profile when sling and swivels are removed" - you still need to drill the stock, but it will meet your requirement to "...keep the stock as clean as possible..."

On a related note, I need sling help.........
First of all, what's the difference in a single point, two point, and three point sling ? In other words, what's the significance of the number of points ? In other, other words.....what's a point ?
Edit: the 2nd picture Sir Aardvark posted - is that a 2 point sling ?
I'm taking a tac shotgun class, and they recommend my gun be equipped with a tactical sling - single or three point recommended - and.......
I have no idea what that means or what to look for.
I need help. Thanks.

I have a Remington 11.87.
Replaced the mag cap and did drill 1 hole in the butt end and sling was mounted in 15 min or less. That style mount is available for many autos. Dont get too friendly w/ your auto. You may neeed to turn it in after Nov 4.
