Hello, all I am doing a final project on gun rights and have to do an evaluation of gun rights articles from different media, such as print, electonic and verbal. I am trying to take a few NRA ads from you tube. I can pull the link that lets me open the page it is on, but what I am trying to do is put in the actual video on my flash disk so that I can load it in my presentation. Can anyone help?

If you use Firefox as your browser, there's an addon called DownloadHelper (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006) that will pull the videos or you. Be aware also that Youtube videos are stored as Flash videos or FLVs, so you'll also need special software to play them like FLV Player (http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html).

Hope this helps.

Also get software that converts them to more friendly formats such as Windows Media Player, etc.

The instructions can be found the same place you get DownloadHelper.

Works great, by the way. And it's all free.

Thanks, misANTHrope & meef, your links were very helpful. I was able to download the video. Now maybe I can get the project done on time.
