I keep hearing about Michael Moore trying to stop ammo sales at Walmart. What's the dilleo, I haven't heard anything about it lately. Will I be able to keep a steady supply of Winchester white box?

Walmart will do what is best for their bottom line. If Moore convinces them that he is influential enough to adversely affect profits, they will cease ammo sales. Stores are in the business of making a profit, not safeguarding the BOR.

consider the shelf density of ammo sales profits

Went to Wal-Mart the other day with a friend where we picked up some 100-rd boxes of Winchester 9mm for $10.95 each. They'd better not stop selling or I'd have no reason to go there.

I went out of my way to drive down to the Elk Grove Wal-Mart the other day because they have the best Sporting Goods section in the area. I was looking to spend money. I then overhear some Associate gal vehemently spewing her antigun rhetoric about having to work the gun counter and saying she would give any customer the third degree regarding what was their intended purpose for the gun or ammo or whatever. This included statements like "who are you going to kill with that, that's not hunting ammo you know, are you going to eat what you killed with that?" and so forth. The poor gun counter Associate was putting up with her tirade and was not able to convince her of the benefit of their high firearm sales.

After waiting at the counter with my $65 worth of ammo and Christmas ornaments, the guy came over to ring me up. His supervisor also came by to check something. I told them exactly how I felt about that gal spewing her political philosophy in a commercial establishment where I went out of my way to shop. I told them I came there because they are so much better than the Ranch Cordova Wal-Mart. The Supervisor was ticked off to say the least when the Associate corroborated my story and included that the gal was basically putting down their particular store for their high volume of Firearm sales; apparently the highest volume of any retailer in the county. Well, to make a long story short, I sleep better at night thinking that they fired her.

Rant mode off.

You evil man, you!

Now, that she was fired, we are now paying for her welfare check. ;)

I would have done the same thing too.

my walmart sells the evil black rifles, they're just locked up in the back room so the sheeple dont piddle themselves upon seeing it.

the counter clerk who works the gun dept is an older man who knows his stuff and is always willing to answer my questions. he also runs a side business locating guns for a small profit. turns out his 'small profit' is not worth saving me the effort to do some research myself and find what i need. think he said he charges 15% of the cost of the gun, plus shipping, but he does shipping in bulk and spreads the total cost to all his customers on the order. still is too much for me to pay.

I will not buy anything at Walmart regardless of how cheap they are.

Well, if you want Micheal Boar to win sit around and do nothing. Get out you writing tools and send Walmart a letter. Be polite, don't rant, simply tell them that if they cave into this nut case Miceal Moore, you will simply stop shopping there and convince 5 friends to do the same.

Moore is another person that really needs to move to another country, he is alread living in another world.

Since it is unlikely that Moore will move out of the US, maybe we should get him to eat at McDonald's more often.

having the extreme displeasure of having to go by the front page of MM's website to get to his forums, theres talk about auctioning off the rifle that was awarded for opening that bank account, and he claims to 'creatively' have it destroyed after it is auctioned. sooo, is he intending to have people pay money for it to be destroyed? or is he going to get someone to buy it from him but destroy it before he can get it delivered to the buyer?
