I would stay away from the gunshow Garands, last few I have seen at shows were pretty ratty and way overpriced.

From the Garandguy.com website:
"All match coniditioned M1's by Kohut Technologies are guaranteed to shoot 15 minute of angle using match grade ammunition at 100 yards."
I'm confused. Doesn't this mean a guaranteed 15" group at 100 yards?

I'm willing to bet that's 1.5 MOA, but he did a typo and left out the decimal point.
Grammar and spelling count, class. :D

I didn't want to throw the Garand Guy under the bus, but I'm interested in one of his premium shooters. $700 ain't bad for what he's selling...
I got lucky (and the fine, fine folks at the CMP filled my order according to the request on the Post-It note I stuck to my order paperwork! I got an excellent late HRA shooter...I love my CMP rifle...)with the CMP, but might want another for competition...
Here's the link, and if someone knows the Garand Guy, maybe give him a heads up...

I've shot one of the premium grades. Friend got it using his C&R. Very tight grouping at 50yds (didn't have 100yd access at that range) shooting offhand with milsurp ammo. He probably did mean 1.5 MOA on the website. It was a good looking, well functioning piece.
