I was at home this weekend helping my dad check racoon traps. My dad grabs a few .22 CB rounds and an old, little bolt action .22.

I recognized it as the gun I learned to shoot on.

Sadly, the BC round got caught in the barrel when we were trying to dispatch a racoon, and I used my CZ 75 w/ Kadet on the coon. In any case, it was fun to handle the old gun that was used to teach me how to shoot.

However, I know next to nothing about the rifle. All I know is that the gun was bought by a great great uncle for 7 dollars out of a Sears and Roebucks magazine.

Oh I got the round out just fine. No problems there. It's completely stock. However, it'd be the last gun I'd ever sell.

Anyone else own one of these? I took a look at the bolt, and man are they simple.
