here is the beast that I shot yesterday!
shot 6pm
found 8pm(hard to follow trail through THICK brush and across a creek in the dark)
ran maybe 60-70 yards
Saint Marys River state park(southern Maryland)

Thompson Center Omega inline 50 cal with cabela scope
75 -80 yard shot
in the shoulder out the neck( angle away shot)
9 points(can't see them all in the pic but they are there)
Have to get back to you on the weight and better picts

The best part was..... I was busy earlier in the day and didn't have time to shower so I was hunting in makeup and perfume!!!

This is the first year I hunted with a muzzleloader and I love it!

Congrats on that great buck. In 1965 i killed a 12 point on private property in Charles vcounty that weighed 241 pounds field dressed. It's head scored a 192 when scored in 2004.

That's impossible. There is no way you could have a successful hunt without scent eliminating base layers, specially laundered outerwear bagged in activated charcoal containers, odor eliminating deodorant or body washes.

Nice buck.

sweet,

I had no luck last week during the early muzzleloader season in Maryland. Perhaps I need to wear some lipstick and perfume when I head out tonight. :)

maybe I should market my own scent line;)

btw... it was a vanilla-ish scent. and I was down wind.

oh and while I was waiting at the beginning of the blood trail for my buddy to arrive to help track.... I was approached by another buck upwind of me. he didn't seem to mind till he saw me. Then we stared at each other for awhile. If it was a doe, I would of shot it. eh

Thats exactly what the clothes manufacturers want you to swallow.

Its called marketing.
