Bounty Hunter Opinions

Hello to all. A local gun store has a LNIB Eaa Bounty Hunter for $250 out the door. It is the blued 22lr/22mag convertible, with 6.75 inch barrel. It looks well made. Not quite a Ruger, but not a Single Six price either. I was wandering what the opinion of the pistol is. Quality, accuracy, and your opinion of the pistol will influence my decision to purchase or not. Thank you.

Just because it's German doesn't mean it's quality. RG is German.

$250 seems kind of high to me for the .22. Now if it was a centerfire, that would be okay. When i did Cowboy Shooting, several others had Bounty Hunters and liked them fine. My own personal experience, however, was not positive.

It's a $150 -$175 gun at most. Look around and see if you can find a used ruger for $200.

A friend of mine had a EAA Bounty Hunter it was a real squirrel killer.:evil:

Cant say for the .22, but I have one in .45 Colt that has been a great pistol.
