I am going to be resizing some jacketed pulls.. I have done them in the past BUT it was done without lube so I was wondering bout hitting them with some case lube this time around?

Definitely lube them. Imperial Sizing Die Wax is a good one, but others work well too.

just curious what type of bullets and how much your re-sizing them??

inquiring minds want to know :)

They will run through the die better lubed and there will less galling of the jacket and transfer of copper to the sizing die. After sizing, run them in the tumbler for about 30 minutes and that will remove the lube.

Hope this helps.

How do they shoot?

I'd always been lead to believe sizing them would loosen the jackets because the copper jacket springs back more then the more mailable lead core when you run them through a bullet sizing die.

I've got to throw this dumb question in there: Why would you want to resize (I assume shrink) that bullet? And to what caliber? .204? This is the first I've ever heard of sizing a jacketed commercial bullet.

Are you resizing them, or just making sure they're round? Either way I'd use lube though.

Ah, I should have been clearer-

I am just running them through to make 'em round if they were squished a bit by the pulling. I'm not really resizing them.

The ones that I have previously resized have given me about 1.2 MOA (or so) accuracy..

It's just blasting ammo, it hits what I aim at so that's good in my book :)
