As I alluded to in my prior thread (What is this shotgun accessory? @ http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=389403), I have an old 12 gauge single shot which is marked "Columbia" which is in need of some TLC.
I understand from the thread "Columbia" brand 12 gage shotgun (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=256030&highlight=columbia) that this was a "hardware store" gun.
I think that I might have to find some new parts for it as part of that TLC - does anyone have any suggestions as to parts sources?

Thanks

You likely have a Crescent. Check with Numrich for the parts you need.

It appears you may have an old H&R (Harrington and Richardson) single shot shotgun with a "house" brand name.
H&R made many house brand names were produced by H&R at various times. I had one very similar to yours with a hardware store name on it from my Grandfather and since given to my brother.
H&R made two different tang styles: Round tang and square tang, The round tangs are earlier production and have a tendency to split the buttstock. I was able to replace the one on mine with a Boyd's unit, but it may have since been discontinued.

These were, generally speaking, well made guns, but to the best of my knowledge have no collector value.

I hope this is helpful.
