Here is today's gunshow finds #2 & #3.
The first is 2 sealed tins of Fiocchi #11 caps.
Alcan must have been the distributor.
Anyone ever try these?

The second is 3 cans of RWS 6 flange musket caps.
The seller said that they're both probably from the
1970's or 1980's and ignite very strong.
The Fiocchi's are sealed with paper tape so I'll wait
to open them up.

Buy 'em where & when you can find 'em! :)

I remember using those RWS Musket caps OMG I haven't seen any of those in quite some time been using CCI since they are available at my local Gander Mountain.

I bought these recently - the Dixie Gun Works caps at a gunshow in NH, the German caps in ME.
The DGW caps are pretty old and about 1 out of 10 are duds. "Grooved...improved" - sounds like the Addams Family song.
The German caps are good (ribbed for...ah, never mind)

Kmart used to sell the RWS 1075's. They're just a little too tall to fit into my TC clear view snail capper though.

The only RWS musket caps I've seen came in tins of 250 & had a red label similar to the one in Pohill's post. I still have a couple thousand of those left. Now they come in plastic 'tins' of 200 with same red label. All have been 4-flange though, only 6-flange I see now are the CCI.
Interesting to see the DGW caps Pohill bought were made in Belgium. Used to see some #11-size caps from somewhere in So. America ,Brazil I think, in a light blue or green plastic round 'tin' & they were duds, too.
